The Sabah Development Corridor (SDC) armed with a total of RM110 billion in investment, the projects include the construction of central railway station, setting up a bulking facility of the palm oil industrial cluster in Lahad Datu, development of Kota Kinabalu waterfront, integrated mixed seafront development, that include a 2km – long pedestrian boardwalk linking signature retail lifestyle, residential and hotel establishment.

Sabah, is an ideal location for gaining access to new market in Sarawak, Brunei, Labuan and Philippines. Stage the ninth Malaysia plan, is expected to unveil many growth plans involving physical and non-physical developments aimed at preparing Malaysia to become a developed nation by 2020. The government’s decision in advance a number of construction projects stated in the 9MP is very well received to buffer the decline in construction projects. The implementation of constructions projects in the 9MP is expected to bring improvement in the growth of the East Malaysia construction sectors.
